WEIGHTLIFTING BEGINNERS COURSE AT MOTIVUS!


⁠Interested in weightlifting but not sure where to start?

⁠In Motivus’ beginners course, you will learn the fundamentals of weightlifting and gain the skills needed to train independently as well.

⁠During the five-week course, you will learn the basics of weightlifting, develop your strength training, and hopefully discover a new hobby.

⁠The course is led by Motivus weightlifting coach Henrik Helkela, who has extensive experience both in coaching weightlifting and competing in the sport.

⁠Each beginners course session lasts 1.5 hours and includes a thorough warm-up, technical training, and the main workout. This means an effective 1.5-hour full-body training session.

⁠Course schedule

⁠March 10 to April 7, 2026
Tuesdays from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM

⁠The course has space for 8 participants, with a minimum of 4 participants.
