WEIGHTLIFTING BEGINNERS COURSE AT MOTIVUS!
Interested in weightlifting but not sure where to start?
In Motivus’ beginners course, you will learn the fundamentals of weightlifting and gain the skills needed to train independently as well.
During the five-week course, you will learn the basics of weightlifting, develop your strength training, and hopefully discover a new hobby.
The course is led by Motivus weightlifting coach Henrik Helkela, who has extensive experience both in coaching weightlifting and competing in the sport.
Each beginners course session lasts 1.5 hours and includes a thorough warm-up, technical training, and the main workout. This means an effective 1.5-hour full-body training session.

March 10 to April 7, 2026
Tuesdays from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM
The course has space for 8 participants, with a minimum of 4 participants.
